Our efforts have effects far beyond the care of the pets themselves. Read the frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) for details.
Center for Food Action (Bergen County)
The Center for Food Action provides emergency food, homelessness prevention and utility assistance to tens of thousands of individuals and families living in Northern New Jersey.
Closter Animal Welfare Society (CLAWS) (Bergenfield)
Times are tough and C.L.A.W.S. is here to help! Unfortunately these days people are forced to give up their beloved family pets due to the struggles in the economy. Finances are low and pet food costs are expensive. As animal lovers, we at C.L.A.W.S. would rather help these families care for their pets then see them have to give them up. For this reason we are happy to help the surrounding communities in Bergen County with pet food supplies. Our pantry is open 3 days per week and our volunteers are there to supply people with pet food for the week.
